Un- American is to consider adverses to the principles of the United States, or to be against America.Being an American is behaving like an American, respecting the institutions and traditions that are what America is all about is what makes one "American".To be un-american mean that a person do not think, act, or believe in the everyday things thats americans do, like saying the pledge of allegiance or anti americanist.What makes America great is that you have the freedom to be un-American.
